Berty Dezzani is the founder of Parakleos Counseling and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than 20 years of experience working with individuals, couples, and families. As a Clinical Fellow of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a Doctor of Marriage and Family Therapy, she brings extensive training, deep clinical expertise, and a compassionate presence to her work.
Berty specializes in helping clients navigate anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Her approach is grounded in the belief that healing occurs within safe, meaningful relationships. Through careful listening, thoughtful guidance, and evidence-based interventions, she helps clients strengthen communication, deepen connection, and create lasting change.
Her advanced training includes EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment-based approaches, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and trauma-informed care. Drawing from decades of clinical experience and extensive continuing education, Berty tailors therapy to the unique needs and goals of each client.

She is committed to creating a space where people feel comfortable sharing their most personal struggles, exploring new possibilities, and moving toward greater clarity, healing, and fulfillment. Her goal is simple: to help clients feel more connected to themselves, their relationships, and the life they want to live.
Hannah Dezzani, M.S., AMFT, is a psychotherapist who works with individuals and couples seeking deeper connection, greater self-understanding, and meaningful change. She provides a warm, collaborative space where clients can explore their emotional experiences, navigate life transitions, strengthen relationships, and develop a more grounded sense of self.
Drawing from attachment-based, psychodynamic, and systemic approaches, Hannah helps clients understand how past experiences, family dynamics, and relational patterns continue to shape their present lives. Her work is guided by the belief that lasting growth begins with insight, self-compassion, and the experience of being genuinely understood.
Hannah earned her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Graduate School and is currently practicing as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with adults and couples facing anxiety, relationship challenges, identity concerns, life transitions, and emotional disconnection.
Known for her thoughtful presence and genuine curiosity, Hannah strives to create a therapeutic relationship that feels both supportive and transformative, one where clients can explore their stories, discover new possibilities, and move toward lives that feel more connected, authentic, and fulfilling.
